Made for This

I was surprised by snow again recently.

I know- Rochester. How could I really be surprised, right? But I was!

As I was driving, I passed some geese that ran across the road and went straight into the pond.

And I shivered and said “Wow, are they crazy!! I could never!”

And then the thought occurred to me: They were made for this!

Sometimes God will call us to do something that other people look at and think is crazy. They could never picture themselves doing it, or anyone else doing it for that matter. They may even say “Why would you WANT to?”

But if it’s what He made you to do, then you won’t be bothered by the climate around you. You’ll just slide right in the pond and get to it!

1 Corinthians 1:25-29
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. Colossians 3:23-24

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
